Bemerkenswert ist, dass Aufnahmen von der Au\u00dfenansicht in Citizen Kane verwendet wurden, der haupts\u00e4chlich an anderen Orten gedreht wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heute dient das Anwesen als Luxushotel und Hochzeitslocation, sodass es schwerer zu besuchen ist, ohne etwas zu planen. Du kannst das Gel\u00e4nde des Anwesens bei einer der t\u00e4glich um 11 Uhr stattfindenden Touren besichtigen. (Viele Einheimische haben noch nie davon geh\u00f6rt!) Es war das Zuhause von William Coe von Standard Oil. Das Haus selbst ist \u00e4u\u00dferst sch\u00f6n, aber ein Gro\u00dfteil des Reizes liegt in den \u00fcppigen G\u00e4rten und Gew\u00e4chsh\u00e4usern mit tropischen Pflanzen, sogar im Winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das erste auf dem Grundst\u00fcck erbaute Haus brannte nieder, wurde jedoch durch das weitl\u00e4ufige 68-Zimmer-Herrenhaus im Tudor Revival-Stil mit Kalkstein ersetzt. Dieses Caf\u00e9 befindet sich in der ehemaligen Pferdestall, und die Aussicht ist wirklich sch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weitere Tipps f\u00fcr den Besuch von Oyster Bay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es gibt viele gro\u00dfartige Restaurants in Oyster Bay. (Ja, es ist nach Austern benannt!) Ich liebe <strong>Canterbury&#8217;s Oyster Bar and Grill <\/strong>f\u00fcr ihre Meeresfr\u00fcchte. Nat\u00fcrlich servieren sie Austern, aber auch eine gro\u00dfe Auswahl an anderen Meeresfr\u00fcchten.
