Ich komme mit Hitze \u00fcberhaupt nicht klar, aber zum Gl\u00fcck hatte ich eine gute Freundin, die bereit war, mir die Feinheiten der russischen Banya zu erkl\u00e4ren \u2013 eine der einzigartigsten Erfahrungen, die man bei einem Besuch in Russland machen kann.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h1>Was ist eine Banya und warum solltest du eine Banya in Russland besuchen?<\/h1>\n<p>Eine Banya <strong>(\u0431\u0430\u0301\u043d\u044f)<\/strong> ist ein russisches Badehaus mit einer Sauna, die mit Holz oder Strom beheizt werden kann. Die B\u00e4nke sind typischerweise aus Holz und haben verschiedene Ebenen, je nachdem, wie viel Hitze du vertragen kannst.<\/p>\n<p>Drau\u00dfen findest du einen kalten Wasserhahn und\/oder ein kaltes Becken, in das du nach dem Saunagang eintauchen kannst. Es ist eine sehr traditionelle Art und Weise, wie sich die Russen w\u00e4hrend der bitterkalten Winter aufw\u00e4rmen. Sie spielt eine zentrale Rolle in mehreren ber\u00fchmten sowjetischen Filmen, darunter <em>&#8222;Die Ironie des Schicksals&#8220; (Genie\u00dfe dein Bad)<\/em>. Als ich meine russische Freundin fragte, was wir in Russland unbedingt tun sollten, stand dies ganz oben auf ihrer Liste. Es ist auch eine gro\u00dfartige Gelegenheit, sich mit freundlichen Russen zu verbinden, denn in der Banya plaudert man gerne mit Freunden und auch Fremden.<\/p>\n<p>Selbst wenn du kein gro\u00dfer Fan von Spas oder Saunen bist, gibt es viele Traditionen rund um die Banya. Am wichtigsten: Der russische Winter&#8230; ist kalt. Die Banya ist eine gro\u00dfartige M\u00f6glichkeit, sich f\u00fcr den Rest des Tages aufzuw\u00e4rmen und sich (meiner Meinung nach) zu entspannen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6ffentliche Banyas findest du in vielen russischen St\u00e4dten sowie in einigen gro\u00dfen internationalen St\u00e4dten (wie New York City). Viele Menschen haben jedoch ihre eigene private Banya. Wenn du an einem Ort mit einer privaten Banya bist, ist es v\u00f6llig in Ordnung, mit deinem Partner oder deiner Partnerin in die Banya zu gehen. Manchmal bekommt man ein Tuch f\u00fcr <em>etwas<\/em> Anstand, wenn man zwischen den Runden sitzt.<\/p>\n<p>Bevor du hineingehst, solltest du vorher etwas essen, damit du nicht in der Sauna umkippst, und dich ohne Seife duschen. Versuche, deine Haare nicht nass zu machen, <em>bevor<\/em> du hineingehst.<\/p>\n<p>Du brauchst jemanden, der sich mit der Banya auskennt. Die Banya kann auf fast 93 Grad Celsius erhitzt werden. Zugegeben, wir gingen in die Banya, als sie sich aufw\u00e4rmte \u2013 und ich war schockiert \u00fcber die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit von bis zu 60%. Obwohl russische Banyas mehrere Stufen haben k\u00f6nnen, solltest du daran denken: Je h\u00f6her du gehst&#8230; desto hei\u00dfer wird es.<\/p>\n<p>Du <em>merkst<\/em>, dass es wirkt, wenn du siehst, wie der Schwei\u00df von dir tropft. An diesem Punkt k\u00f6nnten Fremde anfangen, dich freundlich mit Zweigen zu schlagen. (Um ehrlich zu sein, ich habe nur etwa 8 Minuten durchgehalten.) Du musst vorsichtig sein, wie lange du in der Banya bleibst, da manche daraus einen Wettbewerb machen, wer am l\u00e4ngsten aush\u00e4lt. Du willst nicht in Ohnmacht fallen, also musst du auf deine Zeit im Inneren achten.<\/p>\n<p>Danach wirst du dich mit kaltem Wasser absp\u00fclen wollen, da es Wunder f\u00fcr deine Haut wirkt. Wir haben am Ende eine Sch\u00f6pfkelle benutzt, da das kalte Wasser einfach zu schockierend kalt war. Einige springen danach sogar nackt in den Schnee, um sich abzuk\u00fchlen! Ich hatte ein <em>wenig<\/em> Probleme mit diesem Teil, da das Wasser, das ich benutzte, eiskalt war, aber es hat wirklich Wunder bewirkt, um abgestorbene Haut zu entfernen.<\/p>\n<p>Danach wickelst du dich in dein Tuch (oder eine Decke) und trinkst etwas Tee, w\u00e4hrend du dich abk\u00fchlst. Wenn du bereit bist, mach eine weitere Runde. Mir wurde gesagt, dass die meisten Leute etwa drei Runden machen. Es war eher eine Kom\u00f6die, bei der sowohl Jacob als auch ich wie verr\u00fcckt schwitzten und gleichzeitig lachten. Einfach gesagt, manchmal muss man kulturelle Erfahrungen einfach annehmen und es ausprobieren. Die Zweige bestehen oft aus Eiche oder Birke. Je nach Baumart gibt es verschiedene Vorteile des Ausgangsmaterials. Insbesondere wird der Eiche nachgesagt, antibakterielle und entz\u00fcndungshemmende Eigenschaften zu haben, die bei fettiger Haut helfen. Die Birke, ein beliebter Baum in Russland, soll bei der Hautheilung sowie beim Atmen helfen.<\/p>\n<p>Das Bewegen der Zweige \u00fcber dich (oder einen neuen Freund) erh\u00f6ht den Luftstrom, der deinem K\u00f6rper hilft, sich schneller aufzuw\u00e4rmen. Es wird gesagt, dass es auch die Blutzirkulation verbessert, obwohl viele es entspannend finden und hilfreich gegen Gelenk-\/Muskelschmerzen.<\/p>\n<h3>Der Filzhut<\/h3>\n<p>Der Filzhut ist ein traditionelles Zubeh\u00f6r, da er eine wichtige Rolle spielt: Er verhindert, dass deine K\u00f6rpertemperatur durch Isolierung deines Kopfes vor der Hitze zu warm wird. Ich fand es albern, ihn zu tragen, aber auch niedlich.<\/p>\n<h3>Tee<\/h3>\n<p>Zuerst war ich <em>sehr<\/em> abgeschreckt von der Idee, ein warmes Getr\u00e4nk zu trinken, nachdem ich in die Banya gegangen bin. Obwohl ein Bier cool <em>klingt<\/em>, wird es dich dehydrieren.
