Ich habe meine Weihnachtsmarkt-Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr dieses Jahr abgeschlossen und dachte, es w\u00e4re an der Zeit, dir von einem meiner Lieblingsweihnachtsm\u00e4rkte in den Niederlanden zu erz\u00e4hlen: dem Royal Christmas Fair in Den Haag. Ich werde Tipps f\u00fcr den Besuch dieses j\u00e4hrlichen Weihnachtsmarktes in Den Haag sowie praktische Informationen f\u00fcr den Besuch geben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ich habe schon viele Weihnachtsm\u00e4rkte besucht, aber ich war angenehm \u00fcberrascht, wie romantisch der Weihnachtsmarkt in Den Haag war. Es gibt etwas Besonderes an der Lange Voorhout, der beeindruckendsten Stra\u00dfe von Den Haag, die mit funkelnden Lichtern unter einem dichten Bl\u00e4tterdach beleuchtet wird, sobald es kalt wird\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wann findet der Royal Christmas Market in Den Haag statt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr 2019 beginnt der Royal Christmas Market in Den Haag am 12. Dezember und dauert bis zum 23. Dezember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Markt ist von Mittag bis neun Uhr abends ge\u00f6ffnet. Du kannst den gr\u00f6\u00dften Andrang um die Abendessenszeit vermeiden, wenn es am romantischsten ist und die meisten Tagesausfl\u00fcgler bereits nach Hause gegangen sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wir haben etwa vier Stunden auf dem Markt verbracht, der \u00fcber hundert St\u00e4nde hat. Wir haben sicherlich nicht alles gesehen, also wenn du daran interessiert bist, in Den Haag zu \u00fcbernachten, komm am n\u00e4chsten Sonntag zur\u00fcck, um mehr vom Markt zu sehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essen und Trinken auf dem Royal Christmas Markt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ein klassisches Wintergetr\u00e4nk in den Niederlanden ist Gl\u00fchwein. Dieser mit Zimt und Orange gew\u00fcrzte Wein ist bei allen beliebt, sobald es drau\u00dfen kalt wird. Es gibt etwas an ihm, das dich sofort aufw\u00e4rmt. Du kannst auf dem Markt eine Tasse f\u00fcr ein paar Euro kaufen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn du keinen Alkohol trinkst, findest du auch Tee, Kaffee und hei\u00dfe Schokolade an verschiedenen St\u00e4nden. Einige der St\u00e4nde sind \u00fcberdacht und haben Feuer, sodass du dich aufw\u00e4rmen kannst, w\u00e4hrend du mit Leuten plauderst, anstatt \u00fcber den Markt zu laufen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich empfehle, deinen Appetit f\u00fcr den Weihnachtsmarkt aufzusparen. Neben den klassischen Poffertjes<\/a> findest du internationales Essen aus aller Welt (wie es in Den Haag \u00fcblich ist). Ich habe mich f\u00fcr eine deutsche Wurst zu meinem Abendessen entschieden und Jacob hatte ein spanisches Sandwich. Die Lage in der N\u00e4he des Zentrums von Den Haag macht es einfach, in einem der vielen nahegelegenen Restaurants zu essen<\/a>, wenn du lieber drinnen essen m\u00f6chtest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was du zum Royal Christmas Markt mitbringen solltest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wir wurden vom Regen \u00fcberrascht, ein typisches Ereignis im Dezember in den Niederlanden. Ich w\u00fcrde empfehlen, einen Regenschirm mitzubringen, da man nie wei\u00df, wann es regnen wird (auch wenn du Buienradar \u00fcberpr\u00fcfst).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Einer meiner gr\u00f6\u00dften Fehler auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt im letzten Jahr war, dass ich keine gro\u00dfe wiederverwendbare Tasche mitgebracht habe. Wir haben unsere verschiedenen Geschenke gesammelt, indem wir sie einfach gehalten haben, und ich w\u00fcrde empfehlen, eine gro\u00dfe Tasche mitzubringen, um deine Geschenke ohne Besch\u00e4digung zu verstauen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am wichtigsten ist, dass ich empfehle, dich warm anzuziehen. Die Niederlande sind im Dezember nicht besonders kalt, aber der Windchill vom Meer ist es, der wirklich bei\u00dft. Eine winddichte Jacke, eine warme M\u00fctze, ein Schal und ein Paar Handschuhe sollten ausreichen, um dich warm zu halten. (Ich trage in dieser Jahreszeit normalerweise Stiefel.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es gibt \u00fcber hundert St\u00e4nde auf dem Royal Christmas Markt, also empfehle ich, dar\u00fcber nachzudenken, welche Art von Geschenken du suchst. Wir haben viele fantastische handgemachte Geschenke f\u00fcr unsere Freunde und Familie gefunden, darunter eine Flieger-Stil-Gesichtsmaske, Holzschnitzereien und kleinere Dekorationen f\u00fcr das Haus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr uns selbst haben wir verschiedene Met-Sorten aus Deutschland an einem der St\u00e4nde probiert. Jacob, ein Liebhaber von Met, hat ein paar Flaschen f\u00fcr unsere kleine Weihnachtsfeier mit nach Hause genommen, als wir mit der Familie skypeten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich empfehle, mit dem Fahrrad zu kommen, wenn du dich beim Radfahren wohlf\u00fchlst. (Du kannst am Bahnhof ein OVFiets mieten, wenn du aus anderen Teilen der Niederlande kommst und ein Abonnement hast.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn du lieber nicht radeln m\u00f6chtest, ist es etwa 15 Minuten zu Fu\u00df vom Den Haag Centraal (dem Hauptbahnhof) zum Weihnachtsmarkt. Du kannst dein Auto auch in der Tiefgarage unter den Museen parken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
